AboutUs
The Delaware Valley Bicycle Club(DVBC) is a small non-profit organization staffed entirely by volunteers which serves Delaware County and adjacent areas west of Philadelphia, Pa. We are one of the oldest bicycle clubs in the Philadelphia area, formed in 1973 and informally, circa 1968.

Our purpose is to promote, encourage, and facilitate safe bicycling activities, including scheduled group rides, tours, beginner rides and mountain biking. We promote the bicycle as a safe and efficient form of exercise, recreation and transportation.

We are affiliated with the League of American Bicyclists and the Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia. We lead many rides every month for all level of cyclists and our meetings and rides are open to the public.

Great Reasons to Join DVBC:

  • Lots of great club rides at all levels
  • Meet fun people who share your love of cycling
  • Club pays for secondary insurance for all members
  • Fun get-togethers through the riding season – season kick-off party, summer watermelon socials, subsidized Annual Meeting & Dinner Party, and more.
