A Message from your President

As the Holiday season fast approaches and the early cold forces us indoors, I reflect back on another successful year of DVBC rides and events.  We kicked off the year with our annual Spring Social followed shortly by the Bonkers Tour's return to New Jersey in May (which continues to be free to the membership!).   Our dedicated ride leaders-including several new volunteeers (thank you!)-led hundreds of rides for our membership during the year.  We hosted yet another successful Brandywine Tour last August, with over 300 riders and volunteers.  In total, we raised enough money to donate over $9,000 to local cycling and conservancy groups.  Finally, we capped off the year with a festive Fall Social featuring Club awards, door prizes and just plain fun!   

Our Club is thriving thanks to you-our dedicated members-as led by our Board of Directors.  Speaking of which, it is now time to vote for your 2026 Board.  The proposed Board members are:

All current members should receive an email with a link to vote on or around December 15...voting will end on December 22.   You will also be asked to approve the proposed list of charitable donations. 

In closing, on behalf of our Board, we wish you all a wonderful and safe Holiday season...and many safe miles on the roads together.  Make a resolution to join us...and let's make 2026 our best year ever!!
